We work with nature
Expect a Challenge
Local production
Every one of our artisan recipes and products is a unique blend of the finest fruits, nuts and seeds available.
Except in rare cases, all of our products are sourced from within the United States. We take pride in the fact that what we deliver to you can be traced back to its source. In the case of tropical fruits and nuts which are not available in the US, we work with family owned and operated farms and plantations to ensure they meet the same strict standards in which our US farms must adhere. We are proud to be part of a movement of entrepreneurs consciously working directly with our farmers and neighboring communities. As a consequence, you’ll get a sense of intimacy and personality from the Purahana family.

Natural forces
Depending on seasons, locations and climate events, the flavor and texture of our oats, fruits and nuts varies. This is directly reflected in our products. At Purahana, we see it as nature being involved and participating in our activities, and we find it beautiful.
On purpose, we encourage nature be a factor in the flavor and texture of our products. In each of our countries, in each of our towns, in each of our cereals, and even in each batch, you can expect to find small variations in tastes that reflect the seasons.
When we observe these variations, it reminds us that we are artisans, and that is precisely one of the main sources of enjoyment in our work. As we grow in the number of countries we supply, we are tempted to centralize and to standardize the supply of raw materials. However, we fight this tendency and actively seek to maintain nature’s involvement in our products. We hope you agree...

As always, our products are organic and there is never any steroids or hormones used on our partner farms.
